Identify the contamination and substrate before choosing a product
A greasy factory floor needs a cleaner matched to its material and the residues present. “Industrial floor” does not tell us whether the surface is concrete, resin-coated or finished with another coating. This information matters when confirming chemical compatibility.
The technical data sheet for CL 201 — Water-Based Alkaline Cleaner lists floor cleaning, degreasing properties and removal of dried oil and grease residues. This provides a basis for considering it, not confirmation that it is compatible with every floor.
What should you establish before selection?
- The floor material and coating name, if known.
- The contamination: oil, grease, industrial deposits or mixed residues.
- Whether it is fresh or dried, and the area affected.
- The planned method: manual cleaning or a cleaning machine.
- Restrictions in the floor and cleaning equipment instructions.
Manual or machine cleaning?
The CL 201 TDS lists manual cleaning and use in automatic cleaning machines. Selection for a specific machine still requires checking its instructions and chemical requirements. The available TDS does not give a complete procedure for a particular floor or universal dilution ratios.
Before starting, establish the recommended concentration, application conditions, contact time and finishing procedure. Do not transfer parameters from another product. A water-based formulation alone does not confirm safety for every coating.
Ask about a product for your facility
Describe your floor and contamination in the enquiry form. Include the material, cleaning method and scale of the work. The CL 201 product page summarises applications and information to help discuss the product. Recommendations for your process must be confirmed before use.
