Identify the residue and the component

For dried oil and grease residues, describe both the contamination and the machine component. The name of the product used in the process, substrate material and presence of coatings or seals help narrow the choice. Do not assume that a cleaner suitable for one component is compatible with every part of the equipment.

Which CL 201 applications does the documentation confirm?

The CL 201 technical data sheet lists cleaning machinery, steel parts, workstations and mechanical components. It describes cleaning and degreasing properties and removal of dried oil and grease residues.

These applications do not authorise cleaning every machine assembly. The documentation does not establish use on electronics, energised equipment, or all plastics and seals. Nor do we extend the general term “deposits” to guaranteed removal of soot or carbon build-up.

Information for your enquiry

  • Which component needs cleaning, and what is it made of?
  • Which oil or grease was used, and how long has the residue been present?
  • Can the component be cleaned separately, or does it remain in the equipment?
  • Which method does the machine manufacturer permit?
  • Are there coatings, seals or materials whose compatibility needs separate confirmation?

Match the parameters to the process

The available TDS lists manual cleaning, tunnel washing and automatic cleaning machines, but does not provide full concentration, temperature and time instructions for every type of contamination. These parameters need confirmation. For aluminium, the TDS and SDS conflict; we do not recommend this application without clarification.

Ask about CL 201 for a specific machine component. Describing the application helps establish whether it is a suitable candidate and what further information is needed.

Documentation and scope

Basis: the technical data sheet “ENYRUN CL 201 — Zmywacz alkaliczny” (without an issue date) and CL 201 safety data sheet version 9.02 of 27 September 2022. Before use, request current documentation for the supplied product. This guide helps prepare for product selection; it does not replace application instructions, the label or the safety data sheet.
