What does water-based mean?

CL 201 is a water-based alkaline cleaner. The technical data sheet states that it is fully soluble in water and has cleaning and degreasing properties. These facts describe the product but do not prove compatibility with every surface or safe use without the required protection.

Non-flammability is a specific property

The CL 201 safety data sheet, version 9.02 of 27 September 2022, describes the product as non-flammable. This does not mean “hazard-free”. The sheet also identifies corrosive and eye-damage hazards. Check protection, storage and handling requirements in the current SDS and on the label.

Can it be described as environmentally safe?

Such a broad claim does not explain conditions of use or how residues should be handled. Environmental classification, accidental-release instructions and waste-disposal rules are separate matters. No single statement should be taken as permission to discharge the product or contaminated liquid into drains.

The available SDS requires preventing the product from entering drains and public waters. Determine waste handling according to current documentation and site procedures. We do not describe CL 201 as non-toxic or harmless to the environment.

How should documentation inform product selection?

  • Compare the intended application with the technical data sheet.
  • Check the SDS for hazards, incompatible materials and required protective measures.
  • Confirm application conditions for your process.
  • Establish how cleaning residues will be handled.

Request CL 201 documentation and application advice. Specify the material and contamination: “water-based and non-flammable” alone is not enough to complete product selection.

Documentation and scope

Basis: the technical data sheet “ENYRUN CL 201 — Zmywacz alkaliczny” (without an issue date) and CL 201 safety data sheet version 9.02 of 27 September 2022. Before use, request current documentation for the supplied product. This guide helps prepare for product selection; it does not replace application instructions, the label or the safety data sheet.
