Medium-Strength Threadlocker
GL 243 is a single-component, medium-strength anaerobic threadlocker and sealant for joints requiring service disassembly with ordinary tools. The source states 10–12 Nm.

GL 243 is intended for threaded joints made from many metals, with applications in machinery, automotive work, pneumatics and hydraulics. It helps prevent bolts and nuts loosening under vibration and impact. Curing takes place in contact with metal when air is excluded.
It may replace mechanical locking methods where the joint design permits.
