GL 401 3 is a polymer adhesive and sealant for assembly and repair work involving steel, non-ferrous metals, glass, suitable plastics, wood, rubber and textiles.

Applications include ventilation and air-conditioning ducts, refrigeration-unit assembly, cabins, joints and filling defects. The source recommends use with stainless steels.
Curing depends on ambient temperature, relative humidity, joint cross-section, surface size and vapour permeability. Higher temperature and relative humidity accelerate polymerisation.
