Applications
CL 601 5 is a citrus cleaner. Its technical data sheet lists removal of adhesive, paint, fat, grease, rubber, tar and soot residues, as well as labels, double-sided tape and protective films.
Listed substrates include metal, ceramics, glass, porcelain and many plastics. This does not establish compatibility with every plastic, paint or coating. Test on an inconspicuous area before use.
Selection and application
Follow the current label and safety data sheet after checking the substrate and adhesive type. Select contact time and residue-removal methods for the application; no universal contact time or dilution is specified here. The product may leave a protective film — confirm surface preparation before subsequent bonding or painting.
Limitations and safety
The product contains solvents. The 2023 safety data sheet classifies it as an extremely flammable, pressurised aerosol that irritates skin, may cause an allergic reaction, and is toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Provide working conditions and protective measures in accordance with the safety data sheet.
Do not treat it as a safe substitute in processes that prohibit petroleum solvents or hydrocarbons. Such use requires checking composition and process requirements. We do not claim universal removal of all bituminous compounds.
